STANDING UP + SPEAKING OUT

Welcome to Daddy Voice

Hey there! I’m Joshua, though you can call me Daddy—it’s a name I’ve earned over the years through providing guidance and support to those around me. Welcome to Daddy Voice, a space where I stand up and speak out on topics that matter to me and to the community I care deeply about. Whether you’re here for advice on relationships, personal growth, or seeking a deeper understanding of queer life, you’re in the right place.

I’ve always believed in leading by example—whether in my own life or when offering support to others. I’m passionate about creating a space where tough conversations can happen and where people feel heard, valued, and empowered. My background is diverse, spanning everything from bartending to creative writing, from being a leader in LGBTQ non-profit spaces to exploring and advocating for polyamory, open relationships, and pansexuality. While I don’t have formal training in relationship counseling or therapy, my life experiences have given me a unique perspective on love, intimacy, and human connection.

The Mission of Daddy Voice

Daddy Voice was created with a singular mission in mind: to help others grow and thrive by offering guidance, education, and empathy. I believe that we live in a world that is often divided, where showing love and kindness can make all the difference. My aim is to use my voice to discuss topics that often go unspoken, to break down the stigma surrounding open relationships, queer identity, mental health, and more.

At its core, Daddy Voice is about empowerment. It’s about giving you the tools to build stronger relationships, navigate personal challenges, and feel seen for who you truly are. Whether you’re struggling with intimacy in your relationship, coming to terms with your sexuality, or simply looking for a place to learn more about queer issues, Daddy Voice is a place where you’ll find honesty, support, and encouragement.

What you can expect

The topics we’ll cover here are broad, but they all share one thing in common: they are real, relevant, and important to living your most authentic life. Here’s just a glimpse of the kinds of things we’ll be diving into:
  • Building Healthy Relationships

Whether you’re navigating a traditional monogamous relationship or exploring polyamory or open relationships, we’ll discuss the foundation of strong connections: communication, trust, and respect.

  • Queer Life & Identity

As someone who’s proudly pansexual and deeply involved in LGBTQ activism, I want to talk about the challenges and joys of queer life—things like coming out, dealing with societal stigma, and finding a community where you feel at home.

  • Intimacy & Sexuality

From exploring new ways to connect with your partner to understanding the emotional and physical elements of a healthy sex life, we’ll cover it all. Nothing’s off-limits here.

  • Polyamory & Open Relationships

I’ll share insights from my own experience in a loving, communicative open marriage. Whether you’re curious or already exploring these relationship models, we’ll discuss how to create bonds that can withstand the complexities of non-monogamy.

  • Mental, Emotional, & Physical Health

We’ll dive into the struggles many of us face, such as anxiety, depression, body image, addiction, and more. I’ll also discuss strategies for staying mentally and emotionally healthy, especially in the face of adversity.

  • Advocacy & Activism

I believe that part of living authentically is standing up for what you believe in. We’ll discuss how to get involved in causes that matter to you and how to become an advocate for change in your community.

  • And Much More

I'll touch on other topics, too—such as Spirituality & Faith, Sexual Heath & Education, and even delving a bit into exploring Kinks & Fetishes... just to name a few.

Why Daddy Voice?

Simply put, because we need more spaces where people can speak their truth without judgment. Daddy Voice is that space. This isn’t just my voice—it’s a platform where I hope you’ll find yours, too. Whether you’re here to learn, grow, or just feel a little less alone, know that this space was created for you. I’m here to share what I’ve learned and help you navigate whatever challenges you’re facing, with love, kindness, and a bit of that classic “Daddy” advice.

So, pull up a chair, dive into the conversations, and let’s work on creating a more understanding, loving world—together.
